Westfield has completely transformed Century City into a world class, iconic shopping and lifestyle environment that once again becoming relevant and inspirational to shoppers and the community, and become a true destination in Los Angeles.   The new transformation will add about 400,000 sq. ft. of new leased space at a project budget of $1 billion.

As part of the transformation, multiple existing one-story retail buildings and an existing three-story departmental store above podium level were demolished, replaced by new two-story retail buildings with 3 levels of parking deck above and a new three-story Nordstrom building. An existing 11-story office tower (at the corner of Ave. of the Stars and Santa Monica) including below grade parking levels was also be demolished for Macy’s and a gourmet food store plus new parking decks. Below grade existing parking structures were seismically strengthened to accommodate the new expansion above.
