Saiful Bouquet provided structural engineering for the 10,600 sq. foot wood/steel frame private luxury passenger terminal. NetJets, the world leader in fractional aircraft ownership and private flight services, opened this private airport terminal in Los Angeles, which has been one of the company’s highest traffic regions. The facility includes a conference room, a playroom for the kids, kitchen and pilot’s lounge and operations center. The main building relies on plywood shear walls for lateral bracing, with steel moment frames at the open lobby area. Steel HSS sections were used to create the cantilevered canopy to mimic wings of the airplanes.

The facility offers easy access to Santa Monica, Malibu, and Hollywood while avoiding the congestion of the Los Angeles International Airport.
