The City of Eastvale’s vision is to create a vibrant downtown area with a new civic center, mixed-use development, and abundant public spaces to create a distinct sense of place and enhance the neighborhood’s visual appeal.

Saiful Bouquet is providing structural engineering services for Phase 1 of the project, which focuses on a new civic center located on 17 acres of former orchard at the corner of Hamner and Limonite. The project includes a 54,260 sq. ft., 3-story City Hall, a 29,160 sq. ft., 2-story Riverside Branch Library, a 52,430 sq. ft., 2-story Police Station with 2-levels of below grade parking, a central Civic Plaza, and 2.8-acre City Park with an amphitheater.

All three buildings feature brick facades and use steel moment frames with Sideplate connections in one direction, BRBF in the other direction, and conventional spread footing foundations. There will be a 90 ft. pedestrian bridge connecting the City Hall and the Library. Phase 1 is expected to be completed by early 2028.
