Vernon Gong, a principal at Saiful Bouquet, led the design for the New Thomas & Mack Center on the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus while at a prior firm. The facility is a new state-of-the-art sports and entertainment center with a seating capacity of 19,552 for boxing and 18,776 for basketball. It hosts the UNLV men’s basketball team, the annual National Finals Rodeo, and numerous other events such as concerts, conventions, boxing matches, and professional wrestling.
