Burbank Regional Intermodal Transportation Center (BRITC) is the recipient of 2 prestigious structural engineering excellence awards, one by the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California (SEAOSC) and the other by the Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC).
Saiful Bouquet was the Structural-Engineer-of-Record (SEOR) for the McCarthy Design-Build Team. The 300,000 SF base-isolated structure houses the new consolidated rental car facility for the Bob Hope Airport, a bus transit facility, visitor parking, and is designed to act as the hub of the federal and local emergency response nerve center following a major regional earthquake.
